OYO 16462 Hotel Fb

I've stayed here three times, and the last visit was by far the worst. The first two times I paid 1,000 rupees, even though I had a guest with me on the first visit too. This time they asked for 800 because I had a guest. Staff get rude once they recognize you, and they seem ready to find any way to get more money out of you. My room hadn't been cleaned, so I had to wait. Paying the bill took forever, and they added two things I hadn't ordered. Luckily I checked before paying. There are lots of other hotels in Mohali, so I'd go somewhere else.

There was a little cockroach on the bed. When I asked the receptionist for another towel and a pillow, he immediately refused and started arguing. His behavior was awful.

For the price, we got a very basic but spacious room with clean sheets and a clean bathroom. Check-in was easy even though we arrived around midnight, and we left early. The food came quickly despite the late hour, and it was fresh and tasty. The AC filter was completely clogged. The runner boy cleaned it right away, but it took about 10-15 minutes, which was irritating when we were tired and had an early flight. There was no ventilation or window in the room or toilet. The washroom fan was extremely noisy, and one switch controlled both it and the light.

Room service was pretty good, and the location is by the highway, but the stay left me really dissatisfied. I was travelling alone on my bike and had paid a good amount, yet I was put in a basement room with cockroaches everywhere. I was already very tired, and being questioned for bargaining over the price made the experience worse.
