OYO 9740 Hotel Him Sagar

The staff weren't helpful at all. I called because the geyser plug kept sparking, but no one came for nearly an hour. In the end I went downstairs and brought someone up myself. He just switched it on, told me to use it, and left without taking any safety precautions. The location also felt bad and unsafe. It's cheap, but not worth the price. I'd pay a little extra for a hotel in a safer area and wouldn't recommend staying here.

We were charged for an AC room, but there was no AC. Bugs and cockroaches were all over the bed, and the staff denied there were any. They told us to look for another hotel and leave in the middle of the night. The room was rustic, and the staff were rude and unfriendly. The online pictures were falsely rosy. Pay more for somewhere else and avoid this unsafe, unwelcoming place. I wouldn't recommend it to families or anyone. OYO and the government should audit it and revoke the hotel's license.

We were left stranded at 4am in an unsafe area after the hotel had given our room to someone else. I had booked through the OYO app a month ahead and told them we'd arrive at 3am on the scheduled day. Instead, they offered us a room without a bathroom. Wine shops are near the stairs leading to the hotel, and locals told us it wasn't a good place for families, especially women.

The staff were okay, and for the price, the room was acceptable, though dusty and not very clean. The location is poor, and I wouldn't recommend it for couples because it didn't feel safe. The food was also very poor.
