Regant Lake Palace Hotel

The experience was above average, around 3.5/5. My main concern is the food prices at the executive bar, which are higher than nearby bars. I highly recommend that Regant management reconsider them.

The restaurant food was overpriced and tasted terrible, and room service arrived late. Staff were often absent, unhelpful, and dismissive when we complained, without apologizing. The room itself was dirty, with stained carpets, and the bathroom was unhygienic, with hair in the sink, a strong odor, and leaking faucet and washbasin. The handwash dispenser leaked too, the washroom glass door was broken, and the air conditioner didn't work, leaving the room unbearably hot. Given the high prices, I expected more from Regal Lake Palace Hotel, but this stay was a huge disappointment and a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend Regal Lake Palace Hotel to anyone.

We booked four rooms for two days, and the experience at regal lake palace hotel was a complete disaster. The rooms were dirty, poorly maintained, with stained carpets and dirty linens, and the whole place felt gloomy and unwelcoming. Service was almost nonexistent. There was nobody to clean, and it took repeated requests just to get basic cleaning and amenities. The housekeeping staff seemed overwhelmed. Breakfast arrived in the evening, which says a lot about the hotel's timing and customer service. The bathroom flush, AC, and fridge weren't working. The room was unbearably hot, and the broken flush was unhygienic and inconvenient. Avoid at all costs.

Twelve of us went to the hotel for lunch, and seven ended up with a serious bacterial infection. We contacted management, shared our hospital discharge papers and other medical records, and even put them in touch with our lawyer. They showed no concern for our condition, focused on defending themselves, and still refused proper customer support. They didn't even refund the bill. Customer service should be a priority for management. We should have checked the many negative Google reviews before we went. We'll never return, and strongly discourage others from going there.
