The worst part came after I checked out. I left my AirPods in the room and only noticed once I was near my boarding gate at Guwahati airport. I called the owner, whose name I think is Mithun Sarkar, and he confirmed they were at reception. I asked him politely to courier them to me and said I’d cover the charges. I followed up repeatedly with no action or urgency. On 10th February, when I called again and mentioned how long I’d been trying, he yelled that he had no time and that I couldn’t speak to him that way. He hung up, then called back to lecture me instead of sorting it out. Eventually I told him to keep the AirPods as a gift. It wasn’t worth any more time, energy, or peace of mind. During my 3-night stay, from 29th Jan to 1st Feb, there were cockroaches and huge spiders roaming around the room from the first day. Hygiene clearly wasn’t a priority. I booked the first night online for ₹2,000 with breakfast included, then agreed to pay ₹1,800 directly to the owner from the second night. Later he said breakfast wasn’t included. They first claim everything is included, but when you order, they limit you to one dish or half a dish at best. That felt misleading. The place was unhygienic, misleading about prices and inclusions, and showed no customer care. The owner’s attitude was a serious problem. Time, money, and energy all went to waste. I strongly urge people not to go there. I don’t wish anyone harm, but karma will take care of the stress and harassment I experienced.

The location is good, but that’s about the only positive. Staff were extremely rude, and the owner seemed to have no idea what hospitality means. They wouldn’t even serve water with a meal, and charged separately for food and water. Even places in water-scarce regions don’t do that. The place was very unhygienic. Before taking the room, I repeatedly asked staff to clean the mess behind the commode, but they ignored me. Because of this, we missed our Kamakhya devi darshan. A good location doesn’t help when the staff waste your time. I’d rather stay at a better hotel with decent facilities, even if it’s farther from the temple. This was the start of our trip, and they spoiled our mood and the trip. The service, infrastructure, and facilities were the worst. I’m glad so many negative, genuine reviews haven’t stopped the hotel from existing.

The staff were rude and arrogant, and the service was awful. They charge you for bottled water even after lunch, dinner, and breakfast. At least one bottle should be included, and there isn’t even a water filter. There’s no lift either. People should avoid this hotel.

The rooms weren’t hygienic, the food was very poor, and the hotel service was bad. I don’t want to go back.
