SPOT ON 45878 Adoor Homestay

For the price, Yamuna Adoor was a pleasant surprise. I had a quick trip and found it a great place to stay. The Executive Double Room was modern and clean, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good.

The attached restaurant was the low point: service was poor, and the food quality didn’t match what I expected from a premium property. I hope the hotel improves that. One nice touch is its library, so you can enjoy literature while waiting for your food or as you eat, if you like. The restaurant service aside, everything else was good. Hotel Yamuna is right in the city centre. My room was spacious, well maintained and had all the amenities ready. A separate sitting room, roomy washroom and well ventilated bedroom made my stay comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the wardrobe had an electric iron and ironing board, plus there was a locker. The mini fridge had soft drinks, biscuits, snacks and nuts, and there was a kettle with enough supplies to make tea and coffee.

As a pravasi from US, it’s a Herculean task to meet the right person. We were lucky to meet Mr ajaykumar, a hardworking multitasker and reservoir of knowledge and resources, during our last tour. Meeting Ajay Kumar sir at Yamuna bar was the highlight of our journey. His hospitality was quite amazing. He made us comfortable and helped us put together a tentative trip plan. I strongly recommend this place, and you must meet him to make your experience worthy. I rate him and his place 10/10.

Hotel Yamuna’s spacious suites, attentive service and prime central location had already made it stand out among local options when we stayed there for our engagement function in December at Wyte Portico, Adoor. For our son’s wedding celebrations this past May, we returned with family and friends and used the hotel as our base while hosting the wedding at Eden Garden in Pandalam. It turned out to be the right choice. Under the thoughtful leadership of Mr. Sanjunath, the staff went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and memorable for everyone. They helped plan and arrange a pre-wedding celebratory dinner at the hotel, beautifully organized and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Management was courteous and flexible with our special requests, making thoughtful adjustments well before we arrived to suit our needs throughout the stay. Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Sanjunath and his team for their professionalism, warmth and care. We highly recommend Hotel Yamuna to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation and exceptional hospitality in Adoor.
