Aeroview Homestay Chennai Airport

We flew in from Poland with a group of 15 for a wedding, and stayed for two whole weeks. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and we really liked the service. Ajay was especially cheerful and helpful. It’s near the airport, and getting from the terminal took us less than 15 minutes. Everything was okay. If we get the chance to return to India, we know we’ll stay in the same place again. I recommend it to anyone planning a holiday in Chennai.

There’s plenty of room to park a car, and the building has a lift. We had a double bed room, spacious enough for 4-5 adults. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the price was great. Free Wi-Fi too. You can watch planes land from the terrace.

The rooms were tidy and well maintained, but there was no hot water. There’s no parking and no food or drinks available either. The area around the property looks run-down, and the road outside is in awful shape. We stayed here very recently, and the location was a real letdown.

I chose the place based on the online photos, but it didn’t live up to them. The rooms are only average, and the price doesn’t feel justified. The approach roads are in terrible condition, with drainage literally flowing along them. Despite the name Aero View Homestay, planes go over so often that the noise keeps interrupting sleep through the night. It felt like trying to sleep inside an airport. I wouldn’t recommend it.
