Azeez Avenue hotel

The rooms are fairly standard, with average decor, but the service made up for that. They picked me up at 1:00 AM using the free 24-hour shuttle without any trouble, then dropped me at the airport for my return flight at no charge. The buffet breakfast was complimentary, tasty, and had a good variety. They also supplied bottled water and the essential amenities in the room. A pleasant stay and a reliable option if you need easy airport access.

The rooms smelled of urine, so we had to change rooms several times in the middle of the night. They were very dusty, a tap came off the first time we used it, and it seemed basic checks weren’t done between one guest checking out and the next being assigned the room. The room cost Rs. 3,250 per day. Given the service and awful condition, I don’t think it was worth even Rs. 1,000 a day. This was one of my worst recent experiences. Think carefully before booking, and don’t be taken in by the reviews and ratings.

The washroom was neat, but had no ventilation. The room was tiny, smelled strongly of cigarettes, and had no way for air to escape except through the main door. I didn’t try the food. Don’t rely on the Google reviews, they look sponsored.

The complimentary breakfast was really delicious, but I wasn’t satisfied with the service. The property was poorly maintained: the spacious toilet wasn’t clean, water dripped from the AC, and the bedside lamps didn’t work. I paid around 3000 rupees for one night.
