I’ve stayed at Royal Indus whenever I’ve come to Chennai since retiring as an Assistant Commissioner in the Commercial Taxes Department. Mr. Abhishek, the owner, always welcomes me warmly, and the room boys are very submissive. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the restrooms are washed neatly before check-in. It’s about a ten-minute walk from west Tambaram Railway station and the bus stand, with hotels and a hospital nearby. To me, it’s the best lodge in the Tambaram area for a homely stay.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful during our three nights at Royal Indus Boutique Hotel. As Sri Lankans visiting Tambaram for the first time, we felt at home in India. Our room was spacious and had all the facilities we needed. The bathroom fittings were a little old, but that wasn’t a major concern. We left very satisfied.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Royal Indus twice, and both visits were pleasant and hassle-free. The staff are friendly and easy to approach, and the service is excellent. The rooms are clean and well maintained.
