The stay turned into a nightmare during the michang cyclone. For three days, our guests were there, and on the cyclone day they had no water, electricity, phone or internet connection. The generator they said was available never worked. There was no water in the washrooms, and the caretakers hadn't taken precautions even though the cyclone was coming. We couldn't reach the caretakers or owners because their phones were switched off. The surrounding roads were flooded and full of potholes; when one of our cars got stranded, no one came to help. The next day we somehow got our families out of the building. The building seemed quite new, and Mr. Jaweed, the manager, was decent. The rooms were neat and clean, with AC and TV. The flat we were shown had a fridge, cooking stove and water heater, but two of the three flats our guests used didn't have those facilities. Even so, the arrangements weren't up to the mark, and the whole stay was horrible and disappointing.
