Mayur Retreat

Mayur Retreat and Spa sits right beside the main road in lonawala. The room service and food quality are awesome, and the staff are polite while the Managers are very cooperative. They pay close attention to what we need, which I really appreciate. I'd recommend it for a vacation or business activity, and would love to visit again.

A really relaxing trip. The food was good, the rooms were clean and hygienic, and the friendly hotel staff took care of what we needed. It would be great to have more things for kids to do, perhaps swings and slides in the play area. Still, we had an amazing experience.

We booked Mayur Retreats for 3 days for around 35 people, and the arrangements were excellent throughout our stay. The banquet halls were well maintained and suited our corporate event very well. Food was very good too, with plenty of choices and a consistent taste across meals. We recently held our company's brand launch there, and the team made it a smooth, stress-free experience. They were professional and supportive, with the hotel managers always a phone call away. They also handled our last-minute operational changes flexibly and coordinated everything promptly. I'd highly recommend Mayur Retreats for corporate events, meetings, and team gatherings. We hope to host more events there.

They charged 4500 Rs for a premium room with a view, and I booked online so saved a little, but I still regret wasting a night here. Before you go, trust me and read this. The reviews seem fake, and this place deserves 1star. Calling it a retreat and a 4 star hotel is misleading; the place didn't look at all like the pictures. The room they showed me on WA while booking and the one we were shown didn't match at all. It was untidy and poorly maintained, with no view despite being claimed as premium with a view. There were cracked walls, dust everywhere, and old stained curtains. Cockroaches in the room are unacceptable in any hotel, especially one claiming 4-star standards. I understand they keep doing pest treatments because guests keep complaining about the same thing, but it isn't helping. The washroom had a shauchalay smell and a 24hr foul smell, like a typical 3rd class room. I saw the management's responses to these comments, so this is an advance response: stop talking about hygiene standards in your auto response, they're not there. After I complained, your team showed me another room, but I had already said it wouldn't make a difference because it was the same. You didn't address what I said and just told me, "I am Mr Santosh if u need anything please tell me." Am I a joke to you? I'm already telling you. I know a refund isn't possible, but are you seriously saying you don't have any clean rooms? Now you ask why I didn't mention the cockroaches. We checked in late, and you took more than an hour to give us a room that could at least be called cleaned. You expect us to call you every time and waste our time. And what would you do if I did? Say, "sorry ma'am we will clean it"? So funny.
