FabHotel Flamingo Anna Nagar

I stayed for 15 days and had a very good experience. The staff were very courteous, and housekeeping did a great job. The rooms had good space and amenities. It’s a pleasant place in the heart of Chennai, in Anna Nagar. In-room dining offered a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, while the ground-floor restaurant served only vegetarian dishes but had plenty of choice.

The executive room was great, clean, and well kept, including the linens and bathroom. I stayed for two nights. The breakfast was simple but good, and there are some good restaurants nearby. The location is convenient, not too far from the new metro stations. The reception and lobby areas are unassuming, and room delivery has limited options.

The room was clean and the stay was okay for a day, although the place is messy right now because of renovation work. I had no hot water in the bathroom, but reception arranged a fix and had a bucket of hot water brought up in the meantime. The main advantage is its spot on a key avenue, close to the busy areas of Anna Nagar and nearby. Breakfast is available in the morning, nothing out of the ordinary, and the staff are generally courteous. No real complaints about the place.

The bell boys were hardworking and helpful, but the rest of the service was frustrating. The rooms were only average in cleanliness and the toilets are old and need renovation. At reception, expect to be patient when making a request. Staff seemed unwilling to take responsibility, and communication between the front desk and other departments was awful.
