The receptionist was drunk, spoke rudely to me and my wife, and was disrespectful. The rooms at the st thomas mount branch weren't like the photos and were poorly maintained. We also had a dusty room, an unclean bathroom, and the worst AC. Don't book a stay here.

At NK Courtyard Chennai (Fab Hotel), the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. When I tried to contact them about the problems, my calls were ignored and my questions went unanswered. The owner's dismissive attitude was shocking, as if guests were a burden rather than customers. The room smelled awful, was poorly maintained, and lacked basic cleanliness and hygiene. If you want comfort, cleanliness, or basic hospitality, look elsewhere. It was a terrible stay.

The hospitality stood out most, with staff going out of their way to make us comfortable. At N.K.Courtyard in St. Thomas Mount, Chennai, the room was spotless and neatly arranged. The bed was soft but still supportive, and the linens were crisp and clean. My recent stay was a delight from start to finish.

The hotel felt neglected and run-down, and the manager seemed indifferent to its condition and guests' concerns. Staff didn't respond to repeated requests for drinking water. They offered a dirty, uncovered jug instead. There was no breakfast facility either. The room smelled foul, the washroom was dirty, and the water jug and glasses were dusty and clearly unwashed. Electrical plugs were damaged and unsafe, and the intercom didn't work, so contacting the front desk was impossible. The lack of basic cleanliness, maintenance, and service was appalling. I'd choose a simple lodge over this place, wouldn't give it one star, and strongly caution people against booking at NK Courtyard.
