GLM Meridian

I stayed for two nights and found it comfortable and good value. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The reception desk was available whenever I needed it. Breakfast was included and really nice: idli, meduwada, pongal, sambar, and different chutany, plus freshly made dosa and omelet. They also had juice, cornflakes, tea, and coffee. A really good place to stay.

Friendly staff, reasonable rates, and prompt service were real pluses at GLM meridian. It’s suitable for family or official stays, with rooms set up for both. Call ahead to arrange what suits you. The meals weren’t up to the mark, though the complimentary breakfast was excellent.

I left that very night because I didn’t like the room. I’d booked through make my trip and was charged 2600 INR, which felt far too high for what I got. They also charged an extra 800 for checking in early at 7.30AM. When I asked, staff were rude, and they gave me their billing amount but not the full invoice showing what MMT had charged. Very bad staff, no value for money, and I felt they were cheating customers.

The quieter rooms and modern showers were nice, and there’s plenty of parking. I liked the well-equipped gym, the compact pool on the upper level with a good view below, and the thoughtfully designed lobby with enjoyable use of space. The restaurant was also nicely designed and decorated, including for vegetarians. Room service could respond faster.
