I stayed at Goldmine Hotel for five days after my company booked it for me, checking in at about 7:30 AM. Even though I told staff from the first day that I’d be there for 4-5 days, someone called around 6 AM every morning to ask whether I was checking out or extending. It happened daily despite my confirmation, like an unwanted alarm, and was irritating and unprofessional. The staff member’s name sounded like Anayan, though I’m not sure of the spelling. He was rude and showed little basic courtesy. Rest was hard to get. My room was on the 2nd floor, below a party hall on the 3rd, and there was loud noise every night until 1 or 2 AM from furniture being dragged and other disturbance. After a long workday, it was unbearable. The room was also full of cockroaches. The AC/fan made an extremely loud noise, and when I complained, nothing was done, so I spent every night listening to it. The service was the worst part overall. Staff were rude, unresponsive, and completely unprofessional. This hotel doesn’t seem to value guests’ comfort or basic standards. I strongly wouldn’t recommend it, especially to working professionals who need peace and rest.

The whole place was dusty and dimly lit, and the floor outside the room was extremely dirty. There were cockroaches, dusty bedsheets, and breadcrumbs on one of the chairs. The room itself was extremely dirty, and the other room they showed us was similar. It looked as if a function had taken place and they hadn’t cleaned up afterward. Thankfully, we got a full refund. Kudos to Goibibo for that. Avoid this place at all costs.

The only positives were the large rooms and the location. The rooms, lobby, and toilets were poorly maintained. Bathroom fittings were in bad shape, with leaking taps, broken tiles, and a stained toilet seat. The mattresses weren’t comfortable, and nobody came to help even after several reminders.

We left the very next day after asking for the room to be cleaned and complaining about the problems, but there was no proper response. The room was extremely dirty and poorly managed, cockroaches were everywhere, and the bathroom was filthy and unhealthy with no hot water. We went with our 1.6-year-old baby, but there was no consideration for us. The manager seemed to care only about money and had no idea what customer service means. The manager and reception staff were the worst I’ve seen at any hotel. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. The hotel seriously needs to find ways to improve general cleanliness. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The room was in such poor condition that we checked out and cancelled our second booking. We’d booked for three adults on a family trip, but the room hadn’t been cleaned before we got it. There were cockroaches and hair everywhere, garbage under both beds, and the toilets were dirty and smelly. There was no hot water, so they gave us an old heating coil to use. With a toddler along, the exposed electric unit was a huge risk. When I complained to reception, they said the available rooms were under pest control and couldn’t be changed that day. The manager denied my complaints to Make my trip and didn’t process a refund. After we showed photos, the complaint was accepted and the lady manager acknowledged it. Parking was poor, and debris was all around. Negative 10 rating. Not suitable for a stay.
