Hotel O Grand Residency Near Kasi Talkies

The rooms are poor quality for travelers. This hotel seems suitable for couples who want to spend a few hours together.

The sheets and room were dirty, and when I complained, they just said it would be cleaned in the evening. So what was I supposed to do during the day? The service was awful, and nobody seemed to care that I was raising the issue. They also asked for extra money at check-in even though I'd already paid online, with no explanation beyond saying that's the charge. For what it costs, the room is overpriced and feels no better than a one-star place. It was more than 1k per room per night.

The rooms were passable, but dirty, and the service didn't match what we paid. Finding the hotel at night was difficult, and the route with scary dogs left me really nervous. At the desk they wanted another Rs. 500, despite my having paid through OYO. Since it was the middle of the night, I paid, but they wouldn't provide a bill or receipt. Not a good experience. If you're still considering it, it's on the way to where Baba temple is located. Go only if you're willing to take the risk and pay extra.

I found another customer there who'd run into the same problem. After booking through OYO, I was told the rooms we'd reserved weren't available and was pushed to pay more for an upgrade. I cancelled my booking. The property manager also wasn't available when I tried calling. It's down a small gully in K K Nagar. I'd give it zero stars if I could, but the review form required one. Don't book here, even if you can't find rooms elsewhere in Chennai.
