For a basic stay in central Chennai, this is a cheap option, with AC and non-AC rooms for single or double occupancy. As of February 2025, rates including taxes and GST were ₹1,300 for single AC, ₹1,500 for double AC, ₹1,000 for single non-AC and ₹1,200 for double non-AC. An extra bed was ₹500 per person. The location is handy for the Singapore and USA embassies and well connected to the city. The surroundings generally felt safe to go out in, though it’s still good to be cautious. There’s no room service for food, cleaning or basic help. They don’t provide towels, shampoo or soap, so bring your own. Cleanliness is average, and the rooms and bathrooms aren’t well maintained. Bathrooms are basic and functional. TVs are there, but the cable doesn’t work. There’s a club and pub attached to the hotel, and bass vibrations from the music at night can disturb you. Some guest feedback praised the location and low price for a short stay, while other guests mentioned loud music, dirty rooms, no toiletries, an unusable TV and unresponsive staff. You get what you pay for, but expect noise and few amenities. I’d only stay again if I had no other budget options.

It’s in the city’s main area, next to ags cinemas, t.nagar, and the rent is reasonable. We had an AC room with a window unit. The TV was there, but had no power connection or set top box. The room itself was maintained well, though the building and fittings looked about 20 years old. There’s no parking, so you have to leave the car roadside in front of the hotel. There was an awkward smell, and I’d ask them to clean and sanitize the halls on every floor.

The rooms are very old and badly maintained. The beds even felt like they had motta poochis on them. I was really shocked by the place on my recent visit, can’t say much more than that. Vuaaaaaah.

It costs 1000 plus tax and there’s no drinking water, hot water for bathing or breakfast. The blanket stinks, and walking into the room felt like going back to the 1980s. Absolutely disgusting, a waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend it.
