Everyone was courteous, from reception to room service, and the restaurant was really good too. The waiters were professional and the food was amazing. The hotel has a hard-to-describe feel from the 90s to early 2000s. It’s in the heart of the city, good value for money, and I had a very nice stay.

Rivera still has a great atmosphere and great food, so families travelling along Poonamallee High Road keep stopping for meals. I remember the restaurant from when it started, around 1990, when I was a kid. The waiters' professionalism is excellent, something that used to be common in hotels last century but is rare these days. Many people don't know about this hotel, which fully satisfies its customers, because the area around it has changed from residential to business.
The service was the only good part. The rooms are old and poorly maintained, the bathrooms are dirty, and there are mosquitoes and cockroaches all over the room.
We had a very unpleasant stay. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with an awful smell of liquor and cigarettes. I wouldn't consider staying at this hotel.
