Nestlay Rooms Perungudi

It's on an inner road off OMR, away from the busy traffic, and the comfort is generally in line with the price. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked brilliantly, and the staff were helpful and decent. Tea and breakfast were served. A few small things need attention: the washbasin tap is loose, the toilet door is corroded at the bottom, and the cupboards are dirty.

It's okay for the price, but there's plenty that needs improvement. The bathroom fittings leak, hot water comes slowly, and the AC performance is poor. Still, you have to consider the cost, and at that price it's not bad.

I only stay here occasionally, but the rooms are really small. It’s a bit tucked away from OMR, and the Corporation roads leading to the hotel are badly damaged with no street lights. That’s not great for older people, and there’s no lift either. Bike parking could be better. They should keep improving.

Getting here is easy, and the place itself is good with satisfactory amenities. My issue was the slow staff. They took ages with requests, and only started making breakfast after we’d been sitting there waiting.
