Rathna Residency

We spent four days at Rathna for my son’s wedding and had no complaints. The rooms were lovely, and everyone looked after us well. We ended up eating at Rathna Restaurant all four days after Priscilla suggested we try it for a family dinner. The food was very good, but the hospitality stood out even more. Special thanks to Ms. Priscilla for her professionalism and care.

Getting around from Rathna Residency was easy, and I had a pleasant stay this Saturday. The room was roomy, in good shape, and had nice amenities. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the place felt peaceful. I enjoyed the breakfast and other food too. A comfortable stay.

The manager was so helpful and treated us like family. We enjoyed the restaurant food too, though the hospitality mattered even more to us. Reception needs some work, though. When we called number 7, nobody answered, and calling at 9 led to them forgetting what we had said. There were quite a few communication problems.

The location worked especially well for a US Consulate visit. It’s very close, and finding an auto, Ola, or Uber was easy. Local auto drivers knew the place too. My room was spacious and spotless, with a clean bathroom stocked with the essentials. The staff were cooperative, and the front desk was professional. I can’t remember the receptionist’s name, maybe Manjusha or something like that, but she was helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, with both South and North Indian options and plenty of protein items. Priscilla in the restaurant gave excellent service. I had a great stay at Ratna Residency, Chennai, and would recommend it to friends and family, especially for the US Consulate area.
