Rehoboth Signature Luxury Stay

Our first stay at V V Grand was a lovely one. The restaurant serves tasty food at reasonable prices, and the team across reception, housekeeping, and the restaurant were all friendly and helpful. Ms Aruna at reception stood out for how caring and attentive she was. We'd gladly return to V V Grand if we come back to Chennai.

The busy Mambalam area didn't make the room noisy at all. It was very quiet inside, and the beds were comfortable in clean rooms. The front desk staff were welcoming and happy to answer my questions about the area. The location is convenient and not too far from the airport. I'd recommend it to travelers and stay again on a future visit to Chennai.

We were new to Chennai, and my family spent 6 days here in 3 rooms. The staff were fantastic: anything we asked for arrived at our room within 2 minutes. Breakfast was great, served from 7am-10am, and check-in and checkout were smooth, with 1pm check-in and noon checkout. The desk was available 24/7, which helped when we left at 3am. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and so well insulated that outside noise was almost zero. We couldn't believe the windows blocked the roadside honking. It's well located for walking to Mambalam station and the metro, and an Uber from the airport or Chennai central takes 20 minutes. A couple of things to know: the entrance looked more like a car park than a hotel, with cars in front of the reception, so we worried when we arrived. Also, the in-hotel restaurant is run by a third party and was unreliable. Half the menu items seemed unavailable whenever we asked. The city setting means there isn't much of a view from the windows.

We stayed from November 3rd to 6th 2025 and liked it so much that, with our flight home from Chennai next week, we decided to return here again before the night. The rooms were comfortable and nicely cleaned, but the staff were the real highlight. Ajith and Aruna at reception were so friendly and ready to help. The restaurant was clean, served excellent food, and had service as good as the rest of the hotel. I don't have room photos, just some from the restaurant.
