The location is close to velanganni matha temple in besant nagar beach, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants nearby. Apart from that, I didn't find much to recommend. The room was basic and not very clean, there wasn't even a water bottle, and it had bed bugs. I paid 1500 per night for a single room on the fourth floor, where I checked in at 4 pm after a tiring train journey. I booked after seeing it on google, and my friend brought me there. I'd avoid it unless you have no other choice. I went out for two hours, and water from the wash basin leaked until the whole room was flooded. Reception reacted very casually, saying they thought the issue had been sorted the previous week. Luckily, my laptop bag was on the table and stayed dry. They wiped the floor and left. The AC was noisy, and the reception staff were unfriendly. My stay was only for one night. I checked out and moved to another hotel the next day.

For anyone visiting the Velakani church and mother Mary shrine, this is a neat, budget-friendly place to stay in Beasent nagar, close to the beach. The staff were friendly, and I had an awesome stay.

Babu Manager deserves a mention. The staff were super helpful, and my room was spotless. The breakfast spread was great too. I've just checked out and still feel good about the service. I'd definitely recommend it.
