There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and getting an Uber or Ola was easy. The room service was good when we asked to have the room cleaned, and we got hot drinking water each day. I found the beds a little hard, though. They gave us bedsheets instead of blankets, which didn't bother me in the summer, but I think blankets should still be provided. I was in Chennai for business and booked an eight-day stay over the phone after someone recommended the place. The main problem was the rent. At check-in, one receptionist told us to pay in cash without tax because we were staying more than eight days. On day four, another receptionist asked for the amount including tax. The receptionists gave different information and wouldn't honor what the others had told us. If you stay here, I'd keep any agreement documented. Apart from that confusion, I had a great stay.

The area is nice and the other parts of the hotel were fine, but the reception team's attitude was a major problem. We booked three days through makemytrip and checked in at 2 PM, after waiting two hours. When we needed a two-hour late checkout for an emergency, they charged an extra half day's rent even though rooms were available. The reception staff were rude and refused to extend checkout for an online makemytrip booking, saying that flexibility might be considered only for direct bookings. I don't understand why makemytrip guests were treated differently. Non AC rooms don't have proper ventilation, so I'd choose an AC room. With more customer-friendly reception staff, this could be a good place to stay in KK Nagar.

The receptionist was so rude, he treated us like we were staying in his own house for free. I'd never had an experience like that anywhere else. We planned to stay a week, but his behavior made us change our minds and check out after just two days.

The guest house is right by the road, with shops and vehicles easy to reach, and the airport is about 10km away. The rooms were okay for two people. I booked two rooms online for three of us because I found a good offer. I arrived around 6pm and left at 5am the next morning. At check-in, the desk staff said I shouldn't have booked through an online portal and should have called them directly. He seemed unhappy that I'd paid online and gotten an offer. Later, they said the Wi-Fi didn't reach the first floor, and when I asked for bathing soap, they said they were out of stock. It left me feeling that the treatment was because I'd paid online instead of directly.
