The location is central and well connected for food, groceries, hotels and bus stands, though the railway is not nearby. Ordering groceries or meals online is easy. Security felt excellent, with delivery people escorted in, and drinking water is free. They also cook in-house from a menu and bring breakfast to your room. There's no menu choice, but I enjoyed it and the portion was plenty for an adult. They provide liquid mosquito repellent for the room. The rooms are spacious, with good closet space, a large kitchen, TV and Wi-Fi. Common areas are good and thankfully have no TV. Service was prompt, and the people managing the place were courteous and accommodating. One downside is the kitchen heater or gas, which you need to bring yourself or pay an extra 1000 per month. The front road is a logistics route with lots of parked trucks, and the noise can bother light sleepers despite the insulation. Families with young children should be careful crossing the road for public transport, though that seems common in Chennai. Cleanliness was about 7/10, good enough for us, but they aren't fanatical about it.

I stayed for about eight months in this furnished 3BHK while in Chennai on a year's official deputation with Marine Accidental And Investigation Bureau from the Ministry of shipping. It has huge parking, and the staff are accommodating. I don't usually leave positive reviews, but this place really surpassed Citadine, Le meridien and aloft group of hotels. It felt like home, and they celebrate festivals in-house. A few areas could use a little improvement, but good luck to the team. The games are worth a mention: carroms, badminton and Table Tennis are available and usable. Every flat has an automatic washing machine, ironing board, iron and clothes stand. CCTV around the property and in each flat, plus guards at the main gate around the clock and reachable by intercom, made it feel secure. Housekeeping, led by Mr.Mohan, was consistently spotless regardless of which team came, and they often went above and beyond. Breakfast is complimentary on a rota, and there is an in-house kitchen. The food has improved and is homely and hygienic, but still average, and could get better. Guests could save a few thousand compared with food apps. The manager is calm and charming. Staff are around until 10pm, then reachable by mobile for services. One serious issue is that the front office can be ear-splitting at times.

I stayed at solitaire for three days during a wedding group booking in the last week of Jan 2018, so this is from firsthand experience, not a bad rating given unfairly. The manager and chief staff were poor hosts, greeting people with grim faces. The place may look and feel nice, but the service was bad too.

We booked the whole 3BHK and it really felt like home. The place is new and well kept, with a kitchen, dining table and hall. You can also rent a room for around 2K, so it's an affordable stay that won't burn a hole in your pocket. The breakfast and service staff were helpful.
