We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Chennai, with four adults and a child in our group. Three of the adults chose the unlimited vegetarian meals, while I ordered chapathi and coffee. I got three Chapathis with enough Kurma and Thairu Patchadi, and it was more than enough. I enjoyed it. Service was quick, and we felt the meal was good value. The waiters were well dressed, though not all wore hair coverings; all of them had them on. There’s a clean hand-washing area with three basins and liquid soap. The toilets were very clean, and there’s a play area. They also take payment through different options, including UPI. The dining hall is spacious, with stylish cushioned chairs and black granite tabletops. It’s bright, thanks to the lights and large windows, though that makes it feel a little less cozy. We had a pleasant experience.

I’ve been coming to this hotel now and then since 2015. The renovation is great, and the food’s quality and taste have improved a lot. The masala still leaves me with acidity, though, even when the food tastes so good. I don’t usually have acidity problems. Maybe I should stick to one cup of sambar 😅

The place has a lovely atmosphere and the food is very good, but the service was awful. We stopped in for breakfast today, and nobody seemed to be keeping track of guests arriving or taking orders. The waiters looked eager to get rid of us. After bringing one item, they didn't check whether we needed anything else, and before asking if we wanted tea or coffee, they pushed the bill in front of me. We had to plead just to get water. They seem short-staffed and the waiters don't appear to have been trained. There was no manager or supervisor around. This is a steep decline for a restaurant that used to have a good reputation. Hopeless place to eat.

The restaurant is easy to spot from the highway, with a large sign, and getting in and out is straightforward. It's kept nicely and has a pleasant ambience, with excellent service. Breakfast, though, felt expensive for the small portions. What we ordered didn't fill us up, so the prices seemed high.

It's a good family place for pure vegetarian food, and there's separate seating with AC. Service was quick and good. After this, there's no proper family hotel until Kanchipuram meenakshi medical college, where you can find a Hotel Saravana Bhavan.
