Velacity Luxury Serviced Apartments

We paid 3.1k per room and expected decent customer service, but I'm extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place. The room itself was okay, but the service was bad from the start: one room smelled of cigarette smoke and housekeeping hadn't prepared it, so we had to wait while they got it ready. We had booked two rooms, so at least we could wait in the other one. We needed hot water before leaving for a wedding at 5.45 in the morning, but neither room had any, and we had to bathe in cold water. The woman at the front desk, who said she was part of management, was extremely rude and didn't listen to what we were trying to explain. She wouldn't even apologize, saying it had worked before check-in and was working now, so she didn't know what had happened in both rooms. She also said we should have asked for hot water, but they wouldn't offer it because this was a lodge, not a service apartment. When I asked her to acknowledge the feedback, she said, “Ok fine!!! I accept and sorry what else can I do?” in a completely unapologetic tone. When I pointed out that they provide a service and that her attitude wasn't helping, she replied, “Yes I have an attitude go figure out what you want to do! You can complain wherever you want”.

The place had a clean, quiet, welcoming feel, and the breakfast was really good. Ms Kashmeera, the owner, was humble and accommodating. The office staff were helpful and responsive too. Definitely a good choice.

Nice hotel with a positive feel inside and good service. There's a gym for morning workouts, and it could work for either a personal or official visit.

The staff were polite and it's a good place to stay, though the food is a bit expensive. It's close to Ascend IT park, and everyday necessities are easy to find outside the hotel.
