The pool was amazing, which was a plus, but service needs a lot of improvement to justify the room price. The rooms are decent and fairly well maintained, though they could be cleaner and the sheets could be better. Service was slow, and some breakfast dishes we were promised never arrived. For what they charge, breakfast should be better and offer more options. The dining table was extremely dirty, and the unchanged mats and runners had ants all over them. That was unfortunate.

The service was terrific, and they treated us like gods. The room felt a little run-down, though, and could use a few fixes to the door handle, shower floor, and door alignment. You’re right on the beach, but it was dirty and covered with rubbish. It seems typical for Indians to leave their rubbish lying around everywhere.

The food was a dream, with plenty of choices at breakfast, dinner, and between meals, and we could also make arrangements with the chef. Staff were always friendly and helpful, organizing excursions and suggesting shops for the traditional clothes we needed. The villa was beautiful, with a lovely garden and pool, and very close to the beach. Inside, it was tidy, clean, and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely return.

We were so grateful that a last-minute change of plans brought us to this quiet retreat, away from the bustle of the local villages. Benedict and the team are helpful, polite, and easy to deal with. They quickly arrange tuk tuks and other local services.
