Hotel Tan Square Inn Lodge

An average 2 star hotel. FabHotel Tan Square is a simple, budget-friendly place with clean, well-kept rooms and courteous, helpful staff. Check-in was smooth and the stay pleasant. It has basic amenities and a convenient location for nearby restaurants and transport, making it suitable for short stays or business trips. The food was decent, though the menu was limited. A reliable no-frills option at a reasonable price.

The room and staff were both pathetic. They said they’d only tied up with Fab to get customers, then kept pushing me to book directly with them and pay less than I’d paid online. The AC didn’t work, and despite booking a double bed, they gave me a single. There was no tissue or drinking water in the room, and neither the flush nor the jet spray worked.

There were no cloth hangers and no complimentary water bottle. I travel to Pune for work almost every week, and not having water felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. The bathroom was uncomfortable to use because every tap gave only hot water, including the toilet hand shower and washbasin. The walls also had visible mold, which looked unpleasant and made me question the hygiene and maintenance. The stay fell short of basic expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless it addresses the cleanliness, amenities, and comfort issues.

The AC leaked water onto the bed, the service was the worst, and the host was very drunk and arrogant. Girls especially should avoid this place.
