Palathra Heritage

I chose this particular place because it seemed like an authentic resort for my first Ayurveda trip. The atmosphere was peaceful, the rooms were just right, and the sounds of nature felt both relaxing and invigorating. The treatments were great, and after one week I felt like newborn. Ayurveda, meditation and yoga gave me a holistic experience of healing body, mind, and spirit. I found inner balance and silenced my mind, and I’ll definitely go back.

The massage was poor for the exorbitant price. The masseuse used very little pressure, and when he tried to apply more, he couldn’t keep it up for long. The technique didn’t address any particular pain points, and even general body relaxation was missing. The room was quiet, but there were no aroma candles, and mosquitoes kept biting me. I’ve had a Swedish massage from Urban clap for only 1000 Rs that was far better. After this, I’m not sure there’s anything good or authentic about Kerala massages.

The staff gave excellent service, and we felt at home there. The place is very peaceful, away from noise and pollution, and a good choice if you want to relax out of town. The authentic Ayurveda treatments were the best part. The rejuvenation massage soothed my body, mind, and soul.

We were six friends, and Palthra Heritage turned out to be one of our best experiences. My friend was coming to visit me, and I was excited to show her somewhere new to both of us. The staff were the real highlight, helping from the initial planning right through to the end. Abhijith helped with the booking and made sure the stay went well, and Abhimanyu was a wonderful usher who went the extra mile to make us smile. The cottages are lovely though compact, and the place is pocket friendly. The cook will make the food you ask for, but do try the Kerala delicacies instead of looking at other cuisines.
