Hotel Mehsur An Hospitality

After I asked for a glass of water several times during an hour of discussion, they still didn’t bring one. The manager was unprofessional too. At the last moment, they cancelled my order, saying they wouldn’t accept the advance payment. They’ve done this to several other customers as well, then asked for extra money to provide accommodation. This isn’t professional by OYO standards.

The toilets smelled, and getting bath water was a struggle because the flow was very weak. When we arrived, the room we were first given was dirty, so we had to ask them to clean it. We’d booked through OYO, but the room sizes hadn’t been mentioned. We got one small room and one large one for the same price, and there was barely space to walk in the small one. The stay wasn’t as pleasant as we expected.

Parking was a major problem in this crowded market area, and we had to leave our vehicle somewhere that felt unsafe. We’d booked two days through the OYO app with breakfast included, then extended by one day because of our work schedule. The app couldn’t complete the booking due to a technical issue, so the manager booked the same room for us through the app and charged Rs 500 more. At checkout, they said breakfast wasn’t included because that extra day had been booked offline, and asked us to pay for it. We were very disappointed by the extra charge and how it was handled.

The room problem started with the OYO listing: it called the rooms classic double rooms but didn’t give their size, and the two rooms we booked for a family trip each had two single beds. OYO admitted it was their mistake. The hotel management helped by moving us into classic rooms when those became available, but the rooms smelled and weren’t clean. The mix-up was a real hassle with family, and I’ll think twice before booking through OYO.
