The location is convenient for visiting Pondicherry's popular sights, beaches, and food spots, and the area is still peaceful enough to relax. Staff were polite, helpful, and cooperative, and check-in and check-out went smoothly. I had a pleasant stay at Thaneegai Residency, Pondicherry. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, which was welcome after long days of travelling and sightseeing. Free parking is available in the basement, but there aren't many spots, so you'll need to plan if you want one. There's also space outside. It felt like good value, especially for families and travellers looking for a clean, comfortable, reliable place. I'd consider staying here again and recommend it to others.

The one thing I missed was an in-house restaurant or room food ordering, since there isn't a decent restaurant nearby. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and well kept, the laundry and bedsheets smelled nice, and the staff and manager were very cooperative. Parking is available too.

A very new property, with clean rooms and washrooms and courteous staff. They offered a double occupancy room for ₹3000/-. Cards are accepted, but there's no restaurant on the premises.
