The beds were comfortable and the lockers felt secure, so my first time staying in a dorm went well overall. It’s also close to most attractions in Auroville. One issue, though: the room’s water tap seemed to give a mild electric shock. I told the staff, who said an electrician had fixed it, but the problem was still there. I’d still recommend this cozy, budget friendly place to solo travelers.

The peaceful spot near Auroville helped make my stay at goSTOPS Pondicherry Near Auroville memorable. There are clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and nice shared spaces where you can meet other travelers. The hostel has a lively atmosphere too. Highly recommended for backpackers or anyone after a relaxed stay. 🌿✨

Nizar Sir was especially kind from the very first day. He gave me a disposable plate and spoon at no charge, though I later found out those were paid items. The staff were helpful, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. My room was clean and well maintained, and the Maggie and pasta I ordered were tasty and good quality. Great service overall, highly recommended.

The rooms are innovative, and I liked having a secure locker for each one. The staff were really good at looking after guests, especially Natraj, who was supportive and responded on time to every little thing. A very nice place for a vacation, with friendly staff. Thank you, Natraj, and thank you, Gostops! Highly recommend.

Harika ma'am made me feel so welcome and told me which places in the city were must visits. She’s wonderful, and felt like a sister for life. My mom loved her too. This was my first solo trip, and staying at gostops made it so memorable. It felt like home away from home, the place was well maintained, and I felt safe. I’ll visit again just for you, didi 😊😍😘. I recommend this place.
