Park Inn Hotel by OYO Rooms

My family and I were left stranded on the road for most of the night, which was distressing and completely unacceptable. I had booked through Booking.com and received a confirmation email, but the property cancelled without telling me beforehand. Nobody had said an advance payment was mandatory. If it was required, they should have made that clear so I could pay. Instead, they casually said rooms were given on a “first come, first served” basis, despite the online booking. That defeats the point of listing on a booking platform. If they can’t honor online bookings or need payment in advance, they should state it clearly or remove the listing from Booking.com. A terrible experience. I strongly advise others to avoid booking online.

The rooms looked very lived-in and nowhere near as fresh as the photos, and I suspect the bedding may not even have been changed since the last guest. The location is poor, out of town on a busy dual carriageway, with little nearby and not much that’s easy or safe to walk to. This company lists cheap rooms on booking.com but doesn’t honour the contract. Believe the other reviews about underhand tactics. Better to pay another 1000 INR for a clean room in a central location with more honourable owners and staff. AVOID!!

I booked for two days but left after one night because the stay was so bad. The actual place turned out to be “Park Inn,” completely different from the booking name, and I felt misled. The rooms had dirty sheets and felt unhygienic, the washroom water supply was unreliable and sometimes stopped completely, and the caretaker never responded when I asked for help. A pub/wine shop on the ground floor made the atmosphere uncomfortable, especially for women and couples, and it didn’t feel safe or welcoming. I’d strongly advise against staying here. Management needs to address cleanliness, maintenance, and transparency before calling this a proper hotel.

I waited over 30 minutes for the food I ordered directly to my room, then called to check on it. They told me they’d given our order to someone else. I’d ordered to the room because people were smoking cigarettes in the restaurant. Worst experience ever.
