As of June 2025, construction was still going on here. Our bathroom didn’t have proper lights, the wardrobe had no door, and the fan could only be switched off or run at full speed because there was no speed control. There wasn’t an in-house restaurant either. If you just need somewhere to sleep with minimal needs, it could work. Otherwise, look elsewhere, including the place nearby next to Balaji temple.

We were 12 and booked a dormitory, but it didn’t have enough beds, so they gave us four extra mattresses. The rooms and washroom were clean, and I really liked the food. I honestly hadn’t expected it to taste that good. We had a great stay and I’d recommend this hotel if you want an affordable place near chimur.

Our family group of 18 had an awesome tour here, and everything was well managed. The hotel was clean, with a nice atmosphere, and the staff were supportive. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious, especially the menu’s “Veg Safari” specialty. It’s an excellent place to check in.

The tables and utensils were dirty, and there were mosquitoes everywhere. The washroom, floor, cupboards, and pretty much everything else looked used and unclean. The local staff seemed undisciplined and arrogant. This hotel is garbage. If you’re nearby, book the other hotel before this one, it’s much cleaner and better. Don’t stay here or you’ll regret it.

Hotel Safari is well placed between Tadoba Tiger Reserve’s two main gates. The rates are reasonable for a budget stay, the rooms are spacious and very clean, and they have all the facilities you need. The restaurant serves good quality food. Staff were helpful and supportive, and the service was excellent.
