Tiger sightings seem very rare here, so that was disappointing. This feels like an average tiger reserve in Maharashtra. There are no phones allowed in the reserved park, and the guides are locals, not forest officers. I’m not sure how they could handle a tiger encounter when the gypsy is open. If you register for the safari online, bring a printed ticket. There’s no print machine at the Tadoba Kalora zone gate. Online registration costs 200 per person, and the camera fee is 200 for a 250mm lens. If you arrive at the Kalora zone gate without registering online, they charge 1000 per person. A gypsy costs 2200 for six people, and the guide fee is 350.
