Peaceful and surrounded by nature, this is easily the best place to stay in Chitrakoot. The cottages are beautiful and very clean, and you can visit even if you aren't seeking Ayurvedic treatment, just to enjoy the calm setting. The 55-acre property has an Ayurvedic hospital and a gurukul, and is mainly intended for people coming for various treatments. The whole campus, including the Ayurvedic hospital, Gurukul and Rural University, was established by Nanaji Deshmukh.

The greenery and quiet atmosphere make this a lovely place to relax and find some spiritual peace. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the hospitality is excellent. One of the best stays in Chitrakoot, highly recommended.

The rooms are neat, and the spacious bathroom is very clean. Centralized hot water is available, along with body wash, shampoo and hand wash. You can get a water kettle on request. The hotel has a restaurant with good food: breakfast is ₹150, and lunch or dinner is ₹220 for unlimited food, with no sharing, as of 11th March 2026. There's another restaurant about 200 meters away on the premises, with a range of dishes available à la carte. In general, restaurants in UP are expensive.

We arrived at 10pm without a booking, and Ashutosh Ji gave us great service. We got suite room (117), with all the amenities you'd expect in a 5 star hotel. The city is under construction, so the roads aren't very appealing, but the hotel itself was a relaxing place to stay. I'd highly recommend it to travellers.

I left feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and balanced. The therapies, yoga and satvik food helped improve my overall health, and the doctors and therapists were knowledgeable and very supportive. Arogyadham Swasthya Kutir has a serene atmosphere that feels right for healing. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for holistic wellness.
