Ma Parvati residency

The photos on Google are misleading, and I wouldn't recommend this lodge. The bathrooms were filthy, there was no hygiene upkeep, and the sheets were stained and smelled bad. Staff behavior was unprofessional too. Worst hotel I've seen so far.

I booked through Agoda after seeing the nice pictures and the listing for Goroomgo parvathi residency. At the address, though, it was called maa parvathi residency, and the rooms were awful. The beds smelled terribly, and to me they weren't worth more than 300/-. I took and uploaded photos. Please don't book based on the pictures, and don't bring your family here.

The owner was welcoming and helpful, and my room looked out toward the river and Ghat. It's on a quiet street, about 1 km from Ramghat, and they accept foreign guests. At night, though, sound carries between the rooms, so you can hear other guests. For the price, I still recommend it. It's hard to complain much at that rate.

Their idea of a deluxe room seemed to be a regular room with hot water. The service was poor, and the behavior was unprofessional, with no basic etiquette. If a business commits to providing a facility, it should follow through. Customer service and satisfaction matter.
