Hotel Royal Palace

The owner always had a big smile, even at 12:30 am, and treated us so kindly. Our train was at 1:50 am and we couldn't find an auto, so he sent his personal car to take us to the station without charging anything. The rooms were very nice and reasonably priced, and the service felt like a 5 Star hotel. We felt at home, with hospitality more then accepted.

I spent ten days here on a business trip and felt completely at home. Hotel Royal Palace, Chittorgarh is a very good property in an excellent location, and the owner's behavior made the stay even better. He took genuine care of us when we arrived late and looked after our food and other needs. We developed a warm personal bond. For a budget hotel or a longer stay, I'd strongly recommend giving Hotel Royal Palace a try. Thank you.

The rooms have a nice heritage look, but what was advertised on Goibibo differed a lot from what I found. Service was very poor. There's no intercom, so I had to come down from the 2nd floor for small things like water bottles. Housekeeping threw tantrums when I asked for room service. There was no dedicated gyser in the bathroom, so in the end of December winter I had to rely on the solar gyser. There was no parking spot either, and I left my car on the road without security. The hotel has no dedicated food service. When I tried to talk with management at reception, the manager shouted at me and misbehaved in front of everyone. I found that disrespectful and wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The staff treated us well, and the rooms and services were comfortable. There were a few minor issues because maintenance work was ongoing, but the overall stay was excellent and the hospitality made us feel welcome. At checkout, the owner personally asked for feedback and listened politely and positively, which showed a real effort to improve guests' experiences.
