AB Merridian

The corridor smelled of smoke and had alcohol bottles, and the room's hygiene was poor. Its walls were stained, the room was very dark, and the bathroom was not properly maintained. There was no AC or fan, so it was extremely uncomfortable. I asked staff to arrange at least one, and they said they would try, but nothing happened during my night there. I had no immediate alternative, so I stayed. At arrival, I was told there were no rooms. As I was about to leave, staff stopped me and said one was available, while discussing among themselves that it wasn't a good room. I asked to see it before paying, but they refused and insisted on payment first. With no other immediate option, I paid and was assigned a room. I recently stayed one night at AB Residency, Coimbatore, and found the management, transparency, and basic facilities far below expectations. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both the conditions and how customers are handled.
