The power failure lasted more than 2.5 hours past midnight, leaving two women alone without ventilation and feeling unsafe. The hotel only started its generator at 1.30am, after repeated complaints, even though the rest of the property had power and the outage seemed limited to their room. Management initially gave a sluggish response, saying they would check with EB. Earlier, when my aunts checked in at 6.15pm for the five-day stay I booked for them in Coimbatore, the pillowcases and beds were dirty. They complained and got them changed, but an unpleasant smell remained in the room. We were very disappointed by the hotel’s lack of urgency. I’ve learned that choosing a five-star hotel may be better for safety, since people are always available to deal with problems.

Mosquitoes were in the room, the beds and bathrooms were dirty, and the service was bad. The AC remote didn’t work, and without a fan knob I couldn’t adjust the fan speed.

I’d give this a negative star if I could. As a woman travelling alone, I wouldn’t recommend it to other women. None of the ad photos matched what I found: the corridors were wide, but the rooms were dingy and looked poorly maintained. There was no Wi-Fi, the AC didn’t work, and the staff were among the most indifferent I’ve encountered while travelling. The owners were no better. I booked through make my trip, but they managed to get me a refund.
