FabHotel Shri Ragavi Gardens

We were five families with three kids, booked through Fab Hotels, and this was a disastrous stay. The toilets were dirty and smelled bad, the bucket was broken and filthy, and the bedsheets had stains. They changed the sheets after an hour, but those were still unclean. Basic soap wasn’t provided, the AC remote was missing, and the TVs didn’t work because they needed a recharge. When we asked for Bisleri, the proprietor told us to drink water from the dispenser. Breakfast was included and paid for, but we skipped it because of the hygiene problems. I contacted Fabhotels after checking out and got no answer. The property and service were the worst I’ve experienced. Stay away if you want a good family trip without “trauma”.

The room was windowless, and with the AC switched off I couldn’t sleep in it. But the AC remote didn’t work, and it ran at high speed and low temperature. Everything was very dusty and unclean. I don’t know when the pillows, sheets, or blankets were last washed, and my dust allergy kept me awake. A really unpleasant stay.

I had to leave because the stay was such a struggle. The AC wasn’t working properly, nobody came to deal with it, and after moving rooms I found there was no AC remote. The person said he’d change the room again, but never gave me a satisfactory one. There was no hot water either, and the walls and especially the beds were badly stained. They wouldn’t even replace the beds. This place felt unsuitable for business travelers. It seemed more like somewhere for couples or people looking to satisfy momentary urges. A complete nightmare.

The building and location were the only good parts, and there was a decent balcony. We booked six rooms, but the maintenance was awful. Dust and water seepage were clearly visible on the walls, and the bathrooms were in terrible shape. Toilet lids were missing; they moved us to other rooms, but those were still dirty and not worth 1500 rupees. They blamed the previous guests. One of our room lights also didn’t work properly. There’s no lift. We saw lots of beer bottles on the ground floor, set up like trophies. The place felt unfit for families and couples, more suited to bachelors and drunkards. Management needs to maintain the rooms properly, and Fab Hotels should look into these complaints and act. Travelers, don’t trust a property based only on edited photos.
