Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Race Course, Coimbatore

I've stayed here more than three times over the past five years, and it remains my favourite hotel when I travel in Tamil Nadu. I wish I came to India more often so I could stay here more. I've sent friends here too, and they've all been happy with it. If you're in the area looking for a place, this is the one I'd recommend. The restaurant food is delicious, the hotel is clean, and the service is incredible. The staff go beyond their regular duties to make you feel looked after. Vivek the manager, Shiva the driver, and Mahesh front attendant did so much to make my arrival in India and my stay go smoothly. They're genuinely beautiful people, with hearts of gold. I was so impressed that I asked their manager to promote them, and I hope that happens before I visit again! Having people like them makes the hotel feel like home. I'm blessed to have visited again and am looking forward to staying here next time.

The new flyover is open now, so the airport is at most a 15-minute drive away. Rooms are roomy and comfortable, with clean, comfy beds and an OTT-enabled LED TV. The toilet amenities are the usual good ITC quality. Cafe Kovai has a huge menu and very tasty food. Service is right on point, and F&B Manager Ananth personally looks after guests. The bar is well stocked, with a good selection of drinks and snacks. Ilango and the front desk team also do a great job with check-in and check-out. You can borrow cycles for a free morning ride, and the gym, sauna, spa, and pool are all well maintained. Five stars for the experience.

We spent four nights here after coming to Coimbatore from Japan. The location was great, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were kind and welcoming throughout. We especially appreciated how warmly we were greeted at breakfast. Ms. DHIVYA always welcomed us with such kindness and a lovely smile. We were feeling a bit unwell from the trip, but seeing her cheerful, caring manner each morning helped us relax and made our time in Coimbatore truly wonderful. We'd like to thank her again, and would love to visit the city and hotel another time.

For business, the facilities added real value to my stay: there’s an outdoor pool, spa, 24-hour fitness centre, free Wi-Fi, and parking. The staff at reception and in-house were professional, polite, and attentive, responding courteously to my needs even late at night. The location on Race Course Road made it easy to reach different parts of Coimbatore, including the railway station, shopping areas, and temples, with a short walk or drive. My room was spacious, very clean, and well maintained, with a comfortable bed, soundproofing, and eco-friendly toiletries. From check-in to check-out, I had a great experience at Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Race Course, Coimbatore. I'd rate it 5/5 and recommend it to anyone coming to Coimbatore for work.
