Navaratna Delight

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and having good car parking was convenient. My room at Hotel Navratna Delight was pretty average and could be improved for comfort. There’s no room service, which would have made the stay better. Just an okay experience, with room to improve.

The food was awesome, and the breakfast was tasty, home-style, and served hot. Dining service and staff attitude at meals were good. They also delivered food to the room, refilled our own water bottles when asked, and Navaratna Delights is pet-friendly. But the stay didn’t match the stated 3-star standard. It felt more like a 1-star experience, with service gaps that may have been due to a staff shortage. The 4th-floor corridors were very dark in the evenings. The TV had no signal and the remote didn’t work, even after I reported it on the first day. Cleaning was inconsistent, and basic items were missing: no telephone, kettle, or tea and coffee sachets. Daily water bottles weren’t provided; we got a 1-liter bottle only on request. Pigeon droppings on the balcony made it unhygienic. One thing for pet owners: although MakeMyTrip says there’s no pet fee, we were charged separately per day. Contact the hotel directly to confirm charges before booking with a pet. Food and pet-friendliness were good, but service and maintenance need significant improvement to meet a true 3-star standard.

The rooms and service were good, necessities were provided, and the location was good. A few bathroom things need attention: the bath area could be cleaner and was a bit slippery. Water pressure at the taps, faucets, and shower was too high and wasteful, and even made the toilet faucet inconvenient. The bars for towels and clothes were above the toilet seat, but would make more sense in the bath area.

The manager was very supportive about check-in and checkout times. Rooms were clean, well maintained, and had the facilities needed for a comfortable family stay.
