The staff were super friendly, and the geysers in all the bathrooms worked for hot water. We stayed for about three days, though the rooms were just meh. If you're on a budget and mainly need somewhere to sleep while visiting Ooty, it might be fine. It's very close to the boat house, but the view is just of Ooty city, nothing very scenic. There's no air conditioning, which was fine because it was cold, and there isn't any heating system either. The TVs didn't work, and a few rooms didn't have one at all. Only one of the two floors is available to you, since someone else will have booked the other. Drinking water comes in a big container brought by someone, and you have to call for a refill. Using the kitchen costs extra. If you plan to spend most of your time indoors, this probably isn't the best choice.
