Rr Hotel by OYO Rooms

The location is okay, and it could suit people looking for liquor since there are bars on the ground floor and rooftop. But I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel. My room had no table, water jug, or television, and the bathroom had no bucket or hangers. How are you meant to manage without those?

This isn’t somewhere I’d recommend if you want a peaceful night’s sleep. It’s only for bachelors who can put up with the problems, and definitely not a family stay. At midnight someone knocked on my door. I think that happens regularly there, since someone I met who had stayed the previous night had a similar experience. The location is quite far from both the bus station and railway station. I found the cheap offer on Agoda appealing, with photos of neat, standard rooms, but the rooms weren’t worth much in reality. The ground floor and rooftop are bars, and locals are always roaming around. The rooms weren’t clean and didn’t even have an air hole. With the window open, bad smells came in from outside, along with plenty of mosquitoes. The toilet was a little clean, but there wasn’t even a mug.

The bars on the ground and second floors are TASMAC bars that are on lease. I had booked by phone to check in at 6:00 am, but they charged me an extra Rs 314, saying I had checked in at 9:00 am. There was no response to my repeated calls asking for directions, and there was no hospitality, cleanliness, or quality in the bedsheets. My actual rating is zero.

The washroom was filthy, the towels were grey, and the floors looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned for days. There were cobwebs everywhere, and they refused to change my sheets. The rooms were horrible and not clean at all. I’ll never blindly trust OYO again.
