Albany Cottage

My family and I recently stayed at Albany Cottage Villa by Lohono / Isprava in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, while visiting for my daughter's boarding school functions. Set on a hill beside the Wellington Cantonment, it seemed to me to be one of the most pristine areas nearby. The 4-bedroom villa was quaint but practical, with bathrooms next to all the rooms. The spacious living and dining rooms had artwork, board games, and a peaceful fireplace. The service from the staff, chef, and managers was consistently on point. Chef Vijay and another chef whose name I can't recall made delicious meals and handled everyone's dietary needs. Everything was excellent, and we had a fabulous time. The management deserves credit for maintaining such high standards. The staff, including Naveen and Raghu, I think, were very well trained. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Albany Cottage.

Albany Cottage exceeded our already high expectations, and we can't wait to return. It's spacious enough to relax without feeling cramped, impeccably maintained, and combines colonial charm with modern cleanliness and comfort. It looks just like the brochure photos. The staff made our stay memorable. From the moment we arrived, they anticipated what we needed and took care of us with a smile. Huge thanks to Raghu, Jerald, and Vignesh for their world-class hospitality. The food was outstanding too, from breakfast to cozy, flavorful dinners. Their care turned an ordinary vacation into a truly memorable one. Highly recommend it for a stay in Coonoor and a peaceful escape in the Nilgiris.
