Hyatt Pune

The breakfast team were friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed the food, especially the fresh boiled eggs with a pot of tea each morning. The hotel is nice and well kept, and check-in was easy with a warm welcome. My colleagues and I stayed five nights. The rooms were small but manageable, though they could use an update. There weren't many charging outlets and no USB ports. The small hair dryer was inside a drawer, which made it awkward to use. The rain shower head in my bathroom didn't work, and one bedroom lampshade was frayed and falling apart. It was a nice stay overall, but the rooms need attention.

The children's menu really stood out. The meals were high quality and suited young palates well. The food here was better than at the other five-star hotels I've visited, including Blue Diamond by Taj. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and the hospitality and integrity were hard to match. I'd come back for the dining. Highly recommend it.

The breakfast spread was fresh, hygienic, and served promptly, and the pool was clean and peaceful, with a lovely setting to relax around nature. Our stay at this clean, well-maintained hotel near Aga Khan palace was pleasant. The renovated rooms had nice scenery views, though they felt small compared with other four- and five-star hotels. At TG's-The Oriental Grill, Mr.Arish from the restaurant team handled our birthday decoration request and dinner setup. Miss Tanuja was kind and quick with service, and Mr.Bahadur prepared the several dishes we ordered just right. We paid extra to decorate the table with petals, a bouquet, and cake, and it turned out well. The main frustration was check-in. It was listed as 2 pm and included a small birthday decoration with balloons and petals, but our room wasn't ready until 3:30 pm. We waited in the reception lobby for 30 minutes. Miss Sakshi at reception said we'd been given a new room, but when I went up around 3:30, cleaning was still underway. I'd called at about 2 pm to say we were close and would check in right away. For future delays, I hope Hyatt pune takes this seriously and calls guests, offers a room upgrade, or provides another complimentary service to make up for the wait.

After we'd hurried off to a wedding with my parents in the other room, we came back to a lovely surprise. Mom's saree had been tucked neatly beside the bed, and my clothes, which I'd left all over, were folded and put away. It felt like home away from home. Everyone at Hyatt Pune seemed to greet guests with a smile and knew how to treat them. The staff were well trained and especially welcoming. Keep up the good work. I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family.
