The rooms were spotless and well kept, and the homestyle meals were delicious and made the place feel welcoming. The staff were so friendly, especially Shanti Akka, who was genuinely generous and welcoming. I’ve rarely had a better homestay experience. One thing to know: Google Maps gives the wrong location, so contact the owner for directions.

We booked Brookevally Homestay a month ahead, but when we arrived, they simply told us the booking had been cancelled for a customer reason. We have no idea how that could happen. Don’t come here without confirming your booking. Their customer service was the worst. We give Brookevally 0.1 stars, only because they answered the call and told us the booking was cancelled.

Ataraxia homestay won me over. A peaceful spot, with delicious local food. Every bite and every breath felt like bliss. 10/10, I recommend it!

We had a terrible experience booking through Agado. We had the full bill and booking email, but at first they said our booking wasn’t showing. Then someone from there found my order ID and cancelled the booking. We were told to book other rooms at a higher price when we arrived. They should have told us beforehand if they couldn’t honor the booking, but they left it until the last minute of our trip. They easily talked about giving a refund, but we mean both the resort and the booking partner, Agado, behaved badly. Please contact them directly, or your plans could fall apart. I don’t recommend Agado or this hotel room.

We liked the atmosphere, hospitality, and food. It was a good stay.
