Collection O 10121 Twilight Bay

It was a bad experience, and I wouldn’t recommend the place. The path to the hotel wasn’t properly lit. The ambience and hospitality need work, and the food was pathetic. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, and it seemed the beds were being reused without washing. I also found several things left behind by previous guests.

Finding the place isn’t easy, though Google Maps does get you there. I booked through OYO. The rooms were spacious and okay, but had a strong phenyl smell. The outside garden was nice and well maintained, while the inside of the villas needed more work. After 6pm it was very dark, with only dim lights, which might feel scary to some but gives the villa a gothic look others may like. There was no Wi-Fi during my stay, though it may have been fixed since. I’m not sure.

Kanathur beach is quiet, a nice place for an early morning or evening walk. The property itself is beautiful, with lovely rooms, and the food is reasonably priced with generous portions. The staff were very helpful with everything I needed. I’d suggest checking the electricals and the room balcony’s cleanliness when you check in.

The room was tiny, and it didn’t seem to have been cleaned after the previous guest. We opened the cupboard and found their clothes still inside. I’d look at other places before booking here.
