We booked two rooms a week ahead and expected a 4-star stay, but the service was consistently below standard. On arrival there was no one at the gate, so I had to sort out parking myself. The reception desk was empty too, and I had to call a mobile number for basic check-in help. Our bedsheets and blankets looked used. They changed them after we asked, but they should have been clean before we arrived. There were also spider webs and mosquitoes in both the rooms and dining areas. The so-called "infinity pool" was only half full, and the water looked dirty. The metal caps on the drinking water bottles were rusty, which is a serious health and safety concern. The food was well below average for the price. With 4-star rates, the poor maintenance and unprofessional service are unacceptable. I hope they take this seriously so other guests don’t go through the same thing. I’d like to hear how they plan to fix it.

We spent a day at the resort and had a great time. It’s in a top-notch spot, with big rooms and a very peaceful feel. The seating area by the river is especially close to nature. Breakfast could be improved, though, since I didn’t find many options.

The food was the highlight for me: every meal was fresh, tasty, served hot, and came in good portions. I especially liked the Udupi cuisine options. At Lagoon Paradise, Udupi, the rooms were spacious and clean, housekeeping was on point, and everything had a calming feel. Mrs. Veena and Danic at reception made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were courteous, quick to help, happy to share local recommendations, and always smiling. Thanks to the whole team, especially Mrs. Veena and Danic. For comfort, service, and good food in Udupi, this is a great choice. 10/10 for hospitality!

The stay was fantastic, with good service all around, above average. Veena, Souhard, Dance made us feel very welcome, special thanks to them. The one real problem was the mosquitoes. We tried different ways to get rid of them, but there were still so many that it was hard to sleep.

The garden is nice, though it’s full of crows and bird droppings. The views and location are good too, but after a day the place didn’t feel worth the price. Breakfast was average in both taste and choice. Since it’s landlocked and outside food isn’t allowed, we were asked several times to order lunch and dinner. Our room smelled, and the mattress was worn out and dirty. Mixed feelings about this place. PS: Please don’t litter around the property or river. Keep plastic out and the environment clean.
