Prasidhi Stay Inn

The food section deserves a big clap. We tried 8-9 items during our stay, and everything was good. The food was delicious, and the staff were courteous. The rooms are cosy and clean, as is the attached restroom, but there are cockroaches, as earlier reviews also mentioned. Hot water was available during the stated hours. Expect service below minimum. You can opt for this budget place if you're okay with making a few adjustments.

The sambar was inedible and far too spicy. I love spicy food, but this was beyond that and felt like it would burn your intestines. When I complained, the manager offered ghee instead of fixing the taste. The managers and employees were insensitive, and the food was even worse than the service. The hotel had closed before and reopened, but at this rate, it may have to close again soon. Worst hotel and food.

The food tastes good, though lunch was awful. Coffee was just okay; I haven't tried the tea yet. It's easy to spot from the road, and parking a two-wheeler is manageable, even though space is limited. There are very few tables, and the kitchen is easy to access. The cashier is tucked in a corner, so first-time visitors may have to look around for the counter, since payment is prepaid.

The rice bhath and rasam are extremely spicy. Even someone who's hungry can't eat the rice bhath, and I don't know why they make it so hot. I challenge the owner to eat it too. This isn't about the money, as I think most people in a city like Bangalore feel the same. Food served to customers should be palatable. Everything else is good.
